Mike Shero

Pulpit Minister

Mike has been preaching for over 30 years, mainly for congregations in Texas, but also in Kentucky and Arkansas. He has gone on 11 mission trips to India and he and his wife, Judy, recently returned from four years in Uganda. He has also done extensive radio work and participated in summer camp programs for many years.

Mike and Judy come from strong Christian families with several preachers in their family tree. Together they have raised three children.

Mike studied four years at Abilene Christian College and earned an associate degree in Mortuary Sciences in Kentucky.

Darren became a deacon working with the Care-A-Van ministry in 2013. The Care-A-Van helps people get to and from our weekly services.

He grew up and was baptized in Fairbanks where he also earned a degree in electrical engineering from UAF. In 2005 he moved to Anchorage where he presently engineers cellular service.

Judy Singleton


Judy has worked in the office since 1999.

Born in Ketchikan, Alaska, Judy has done mission work in Hungary and Yugoslavia. She spent nine years in Seoul, South Korea as a secretary to missionary Malcolm Parsley. Judy has also gone on mission trips to Thailand and Ukraine.

Judy holds a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Abilene Christian University and enjoys crafts, being with other Christians, working and playing at Midnight Sun Bible Camp and teaching Bible classes.
