[dropcap1]T[/dropcap1]he 2017 Winter Retreat is open for all Middle and High School students, all adults and children of chaperones. Everyone must fill out a registration form. If you are under 18 you must fill out the YOUTH registration. Adults must fill out the ADULT registration. Registration is open until Wednesday, March 8, 2017. If you choose to use paper registrations, they are located in the foyer and also must be completed and submitted to the Anchorage church office by March 8.
Everyone will depart Anchorage church of Christ, 2700 DeBarr Road, at 9:00 AM Saturday, March 11, and return Monday, March 13. The winter retreat will consist of devotionals and singing. On the 12th, we’ll sing around a bonfire. There also will be time to play games and ride snowmachines. There will be a $35.00 fee per person, if needed, scholarships may be requested.
We are currently looking for men and women to chaperone. We also need volunteers to drive the church vans and excellent chefs for preparing food.
If there is not enough snow for snowmachines, we will press on and ride in by 4-wheelers. The same rules apply for 4-wheelers as they do for snowmachines. Anyone under the age of 18 may NOT bring their own snowmachine/4-wheeler UNLESS they have arranged in advance with an adult who is attending the retreat to be responsible for and in control of their snowmachine/4-wheeler.
